Do you feel fulfilled in your current career? I didn’t. In 2019, just before the pandemic, I was working 2 jobs to barely make ends meet. I hated both of them because neither aligned with my values. I was vegan at the time and working as a hostess at a steakhouse for goodness’ sake! Everything in my life has felt like I’m balancing on a tightwire for a while now. I am constantly swinging like a pendulum from one extreme to the other, but one of the things that has remained constant in the last decade of my life is my inability to make it beyond the “paycheck to paycheck” status. The other thing that’s remained constant? I’ve always desired more, and I’ve always wanted to do it on my own.

If you’re like me, you’re questioning your ability to find success in online business. You’re probably also fearful that you’re not capable or smart enough to pull it off—I certainly didn’t think I could do it. My biggest hurdle was that I didn’t have the cash available to start and I didn’t have the support to make it happen. So, I sold my car to cover the cost of starting my business and enough money to cover expenses for a few months while I got things “up and running.” I didn’t have a backup plan, I was still working menial jobs to scrape by, and I felt like there was so much I was missing out on.
I saw an opportunity for so much more than what I was experiencing.
I decided to take it, and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve grown a lot as a person over the last 5 years, and I have grown a lot as an online business owner. Through tumultuous times, ups and downs, and many successes and failures, I have learned that nothing will change if you don’t first make a change. You’ll always stay in the same exact spot if you’re not doing anything to move away from it…
